PRESS RELEASE

Copenhagen International Literature Festival, CPH:LITT, will open today Monday 7th at 17:00 with a number of Danish and Norwegian writers. When closing on Saturday May 12th it will be on a chartered boat in the harbour of Copenhagen with a number of great Nordic writers on board.

The opening of the festival at Bremen Theatre will be with the screening of "Alois Nebel" - a film based upon a graphic novel by the Czeck writer Jaroslav Rudis. After the screening he will be interviewed by the Swedish writer Ulf Peter Hallberg. Both are European underground writers.

Following this event a number of splendid Norwegian and Danish writers will enter the stage. Do join for a night with Alen Meskovic, Morten Sabroe, Jan Kjærstad, Carsten Jensen, Gaute Heivoll and Pablo Llambías.

When the festival closes on Saturday May 12th it will be with a Nordic night at the habour. Gyrdir Eliasson (IS), Hanne Ørstavik (NO), Marit Tusvik (NO), and Riikka Pulkkinen (FI) will be on board a chartered boat leaving from The Royal Danish Playhouse, NORTH, at 20:00 Ticket sales for this exclusive event will be on the spot at DKR. 100 per ticket. Do note that the number of tickets available will be limited.
